MINISTRIES
BridgeCare Community Workshop Team
Thursdays, 9.00am – 12.00noon
If you are free on a Thursday morning you are welcome to join this great team. There are also some more practical jobs to be completed each week.
BridgeCare Freedom for Girls
Thursdays, 9.00am – 12.00noon
Days for Girls sew personal hygiene kits for women in impoverished countries. Non-sewers are welcome to help trace and cut patterns and pack kits.
BridgeCare Sewing & Craft Team
Tuesdays fortnightly, 9.00am – 1.00pm
Come along and be a part of this Bridgey sewing and knitting group who mainly sew for Carinity’s needs. Materials, wool and sewing machines provided. BYO Lunch.
Donations needed for BridgeCare Ministies: wool for knitting beanies, blankets and soft toys for those in need. New or second hand dolls clothes, or dress costumes for kids up to size ten for children at risk of neglect, abuse and domesic violence. Girls 100% cotton undies, size 12-14, in a hipster style brief for Days for Girls.
Chemo Care Kits
Bridgey has a vision to support those going through Chemotherapy treatment for Cancer by giving gift packs called Chemo Care Kits. To donate items for the packs or to nominate someone to receive a pack please contact the church office. Brochures are available with further details including a list of items needed for these packs.
Items included in the pack: ginger beer, ginger biscuits, gatorade, chocolates, lozenges, goat soap, aloe vera gel, purse size hand sanitiser, natural cleansing facial wipes, a scarf, dark coloured nail polish, and craft paper and ribbons for gift books.
