Getting baptised is the perfect next step if you have made the decision to follow Jesus.
Being baptised is a public declaration of your personal decision to make Jesus Lord and Saviour of your life. It’s a declaration that the old has gone and the new is here. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
If you are considering this step, we hold baptism classes, usually on a Sunday afternoon, to reflect more on the meaning and significance of baptism.
Following these sessions, your baptism will be scheduled for one of our regular services.
Baptism Reaffirmation Service
This is a service for those who have been baptised but after a lengthy period in the wilderness want to publically seal their renewed commitment to Christ. This service includes a public renewal of one’s baptismal confession of Jesus as Lord and Saviour, the washing of feet (John 13:6-10) and anointing with oil to symbolise the cleansing of sin and a fresh setting apart for service.
These special services are held once or twice a year on a Sunday afternoon.
