PENTECOST SUNDAY 28 MAY – TUESDAY 6 JUNE
From Pentecost Sunday 28 May through until Tuesday 6 June we are setting aside 10 days as a church to pray over the visions God is calling us into for the financial year ahead. Our heart is to seek God, hear His voice and then follow in faith and obedience. This 10 days of vision prayer is themed around the unwavering faith of Abraham in Romans 4:20-21 which says:
Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. Our prayer is that we also would be a people of unwavering faith in believing God’s promise for a reviving move of His Holy Spirit in our community, city and beyond.
Our prayer is that like Abraham our faith would keep growing stronger with the conviction that we serve a big God and that our God is able to do whatever he promises.
Below is more information around the times we will be praying and how you can be involved. A key part of this Unwavering Faith Vision Prayer week will be the Outpouring Night on Tuesday 30 May from 7pm – 9pm. At our last Outpouring Night we had around 700 people gather and we are praying for hundreds to once again come out to join together in seeking God as we ask Him to keep leading us. The 10 days of prayer will conclude with an opportunity for us to gather with churches from across our region for the QB One Prayer event. What a great way for us to finish this time of prayer as we pray for the blessing of God to be poured out on every church in our region, state and beyond.
We want to invite you to join with us in this week of prayer because your prayers will add to the faith of others and as Romans 4:20 says, bring glory to God.
