Pastor Peter Sweetman continues our “God’s Good News” series with ‘Bankruptcy of the Self Righteous’
Why “God’s good news”? What can we learn from Paul’s letter to the Romans? We can all face bad things, but the good news is coming. Do you see self-righteousness in your life? Will you ask the Holy Spirit to examine you? Are you judging others and not yourself? Are you better? What is the height of God’s bar for our lives? Where is God’s kindness leading to? What do the self-righteousness think of the law? Who is the law for? Have you got the bases covered? How are you going with your pride? What are you doing with your imperfections? What can lead us to repentance? “Lord, have mercy on me.”
