CHURCH-WIDE SERIES AND CONNECT GROUP STUDY
BEGINS SUNDAY 16 FEBRUARY 2020
We’re excited to jump into our first church-wide sermon series for 2020 with Kyle Idleman’s The Book of Galatians (available on RIghtNow Media). This is part of a continuing vision for us as a community to make big church small as we grow deeper together around God’s Word in connect groups.
About the series:
If someone asked you to explain the gospel, what would you say? What is the good news of the Christian faith? Writing to the Galatians, Paul made it clear how easily we can be tempted to turn toward fraudulent gospels, especially those that teach we can earn God’s love through our works. Though they may have the appearance of truth, they are lifeless and leave us empty in the end.
In this series, Kyle Idleman dives into the book of Galatians, one that contains some of the clearest explanations of the gospel in the New Testament. Through biblical study and engaging lessons, Kyle shows that true freedom is found in surrender, not self-dependence. Because our gospel is not one based on our works, but faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
The series will run for four weeks starting on Sunday, 16th of February, and connect groups will follow along during the week. If you’re not part of a connect group and would like to join one, we’ll have our online registration open in early February where you can find a group that best suits you. Let’s be praying in the lead up that God will continue to unite us as His people and for His love to overflow in our lives as we link people in.
Series Date: Commences Sunday 16th February 2020
