Mens Camp 2011
Watson Park
Dakabin, Queensland
Friday May 13th - Sunday May 15th
Have you ever felt that there was more to life
. . . A purpose yet to be revealed?
Do you ever feel ill-prepared for your role in
life? As a man? As a husband? As a father?
Are you tired of living on empty?
Has your whole life been reduced to a series of
have-to's?
Have you given up on hoping and dreaming for
more?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above
questions, then this weekend away with the BridgeMen at Watson Park
Dakabin is for you.
Come and discover how you were created as man,
why things aren't as they should be, and how to find the
restoration that you need.
We have Darren Lewis from Fathering Adventures and his
band-of-brothers coming from Townsville to lead us for the
weekend.

Previous Testimonies
"Resisted coming to camp. Had a big battle.
However, from the first night, God began to pave a new path to my
heart. I was able to identify with all of the speakers, and I
realized we are not alone in our walk. I now know the intimate
fellowship of men is crucial to inner healing and restoration
through Jesus / the Father / the Holy Spirit. I experienced a touch
from God the Father during the session on the wound when the song
"Father Me" was playing. This touch was in my inner man. Bringing
restoration, healing, meaning, and a new concept of my Heavenly
Father. The joint fellowship in worship was powerful. The
fellowship in general was wonderful."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you. God is in
you, around you, and through you all. A weekend of togetherness,
allowing God to speak to his sons. Strengthening, guiding, &
loving us. God's warriors.
God's band of Brothers. * Again, thank you Jesus, and thank you
men."
"This weekend for me was about hearing from
the Lord again, to find out what His mission was for me. What was
it that He was calling me to fight for and receive my new
name."
"Firstly, thank you band of brothers for
sharing your stories and revealing your hearts to us. What I have
gained from this weekend is the importance of having men who can be
of equal in our quest to regain the ground that has been lost in
the Christian lives of men, particularly in their spiritual
understanding and the war we really are in. I hope to establish
this connection with other men over this year. I also hope to
encourage my sons back into this war! Thank you once again."
"This camp has done a number of key things for
my journey. Firstly, it has confirmed God's view of me, which is
worthy and accepted. Secondly, and most importantly, it has brought
me back to the core of my relationship with God. open, honest
conversation with Him. I've had a great time unplugging. Third,
I've slept better than I have in a long time. Rediscovering true
rest - rest in Jesus. Fourth, I know what to do with my current
lady issues. Thanks guys for your honesty, and setting an example
of true men."
"This weekend has been an awesome opportunity
to see how blokes can open up genuinely with one another. In
particular the thing I valued the most was the raw energy &
emotion that came out of you all sharing the truth of your "now"
& of your "then". The testimony of lives transformed but also
in the process of transformation! That's what all blokes need to
hear, that's what I need to hear. Being real!
A highly valued and transforming weekend - very keen to work
toward a band of brothers mindset in everything I do, but also to
share the vision of how it could be. Thank you all for your
generosity of Spirit."
