A huge thank you to all those who participated in our iCare day. We had more than 40 people volunteering their time and tools to participate in the day and many stories were shared of community people who were so amazed that people would come to their homes and help them. When one elderly lady was phoned by a friend to extend the 'iCare' offer of help, she was so appreciative. She had just been praying that someone might help her in the garden because she had been feeling so overwhelmed by all the work. Simple acts of kindness make such a statement of Jesus' love and we look forward to sharing many more stories of blessing from the day. Many thanks to Colin and Beverley, David and Mavis and Jodi who helped organise the day, and to our Bridgecare Assist team who are blessing our community with practical help all year round!
