We have been blessed time and again as a people through the seasons of prayer that God has called us to, and spending 24 hours in prayer and fasting this past week was no different. Many people came out to join in united prayer from 6.30am on Wednesday until early Thursday morning, in fact there was never a time that there were fewer than ten people praying. What an encouragement to see the heart for God and for prayer flow through this place. People who have prayed together for many years meshed in with those who attended a corporate prayer meeting for the very first time. People of all ages, including twenty-two children prayed together for an hour on Wednesday afternoon. The hours were full of great joy, and a wonderful sense of God's presence. Prayer remains an integral part of the life of this church and we warmly encourage everyone to get involved. There are prayer meetings every day of the week except Saturday and there is always room for more to come and pray.
