Preparing for Marriage

An informative course that enables couples to explore some of the key issues related to married life.

This course is designed to assist couples seriously considering whether they should get married or who have already become engaged, to explore a range of key issues related to married life. The objectives are to:

  • Develop realistic expectations about marriage
  • Develop a biblical perspective about marriage
  • Explore significant practical and relational issues
  • Help you make wise decisions about the development of your relationship

All facilitators have expertise in their given area:
Session 1       Communication and Conflict Resolution - Dale & Fiona MacArthur
Session 2       Family of Origin and Personality Issues - Stephen & Annette Ball
Session 3       Biblical Foundation of Marriage and Developing Togetherness -
                     Jeanette and Trevor Harris
Session 4       Intimacy in Marriage - Dr Melinda Putral & Dr Derek Manderson
Session 5       Money Matters - Phil & Bronwyn Burgess

BOOKINGS & COURSE INFORMATION (For next course):

The five one-and a-half hour session will be led by facilitators with expertise in their given area and will be held as follows:

Sunday           March 28  2.30pm to 4.00pm

Wed               March 31  7.30pm to 9.00pm

No session Easter Sunday April 4

Wed               April    07  7.30pm to 9.00pm

Sunday           April    11  2.30pm to 4.00pm

Sunday           April    18  2.30pm to 4.00pm
