Intercessory Prayer

Based on Moses intercession for the Israelites, Ex 32.

  • Put the person's name forward to the Lord
  • Tell the Lord that he created and made this person
  • The Lord knows this person intimately
  • He loves them deeply
  • He grieves with you that they are not walking with Him
  • Pray Lord this is Your person
  • Hear this name Lord, that I place before Your throne
  • Remind the Lord of all that He has done for this person and in this person's life already, the incredible blessings that have flowed
  • Pray for the seeds that have been planted in that person's heart
  • Remind the Lord of His knocking on their heart's door
  • That He has heard previous prayers prayed for this person and He has been faithful and true
  • Remind the Lord that He has answered prayers for this person
  • Remind the Lord that He sent Jesus to die for them so the their sins can be dealt with
  • God has done so much for that person
  • Ask the Lord to be Glorified through what He is going to do for that person
  • Pray that that person may be brought to faith
  • Tell the Lord that you want His Glory
  • Tell the Lord that you long for His name to be lifted high
  • Ask for the Lord's Grace & Mercy to save that person
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to convict of sin and that the precious blood of Jesus Christ would wash over all their sins as they humbly ask for forgiveness
  • Remind God that he doesn't want anyone to perish
  • Cry out for His mercy, that they may be saved from the floodwaters of His judgement
  • Pray on the basis of that all Jesus has done
  • Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners
  • Plead with the Lord to save and restore this person
  • Thank you Lord for saving us, save more please
  • Thank you Lord, Amen
